Is Your Future Really A Result Of Your Past Lives?

By Richard Fox

It's taken centuries, but more and more people today are beginning to believe in reincarnation. Granted there are some religions like Hindus and Buddhists who consider this to be a part of their journey. However, there are others that just feel that it's starting to make sense. Even if you're sitting on the fence and can't sway to one side or another, the curiosity of it all is simply intriguing. The only true way to find out is by exploring all your options.

Keeping Notes

One of the first things we recommend doing is keeping track of everything. If you truly want to tap into a past life, then you'll want to figure out your emotions and how you react to things each day. These can be big clues to whom or what you were in the past to others. The reason you will want to write this down is so you can come back and look it over later when you're piecing everything together.

Just look at your life today and see if you can find any clues. It might be the slightest detail, which is why you should jot down events, animals, reactions to situations, colors, anytime you felt dj-vu, and a host of other things. Basically the more you write down, the better chance you have of finding something.

All these are great, but the most overlooked area has to be your dreams. On occasion you will come across a dream that provides little hints to your past existences. For instance, if you're not in the military or have any friends enlisted, yet youre constantly having dreams about it, you may have been a soldier in a past life. If you're having a hard getting the dreams you want, tell yourself you want to learn more about past lives before heading off to bed. Then when you wake up, write it all down.

Try Therapy for Past Life Experiences

If you haven't heard of PLR, it stands for Past Life Regression. There are several therapists out there that guide you through a regression period and help you understand the information that comes from it. Unfortunately there are only a few of these places available that truly train and certify their professionals. We suggest letting the International Association for Regression and Research and Therapies and the International Association of Past Life Therapists find a therapist in your area.

Try Meditation

While meditation can do wonders for learning more about a past life, some people find it difficult to trust the enlightenment. If you're going to take this route to find clues, you have to trust your own feelings before you can understand them.

When you experience this for the first time, you're going to feel like you're daydreaming. You may see an image here and there, but it could be hard to decipher what is the past and what you're conjuring up that very moment. Remember, the mind can be very suggesting if you allow it to be.

You've probably seen movies where individuals use some sort of visual stimulus to get started. It could be the flame of a candle or a pendulum, but they are both helpful. If the visual stuff doesn't work, you may want to try and meditate with sound. This could be from music, those audio sounds that help you sleep, or various other tools that are similar.

Another option is to take advantage of binaural beats. This allows you to hear different frequencies in each ear and results in relaxing you completely. It's been said that you can experience the same state of mind as a Zen monk by using this technique, but that's a debatable subject.

While all this is great, you have to find a place that will allow you to meditate properly. Having three kids in the family room, the phone ringing, and you trying to meditate just won't work.

So get yourself in a positive frame of mind before you even begin. Look for a comfortable place to start your meditation and allow yourself to relax the muscles and quiet the mind. You will notice that there will be times when certain thoughts creep in that are somewhat negative. When this happens you just have to let them go. It's going to take some practice, but in the end you'll be able to form a positive meditation whenever you want throughout the day.

Eventually there will be images that surface. These can be both good and bad depending on the situation, so don't be started at what you see. It's going to be hard to verify everything you see, and be able to tell what is from a previous life and what you added into your mind 10 seconds ago.

You may even come to the conclusion that your brother, mother, or father today, was once a part of your life many years ago. However, they may not have been of any relation, or could have been even closer then you are today. Whatever the case may be it's unbelievable to think you knew your siblings 300 years ago in another lifetime.

At the end of the day you just need to believe in reincarnation. Since you've made it this far we imagine you do. If you plan on trying regression, you'll be able to get some extremely beneficial information about your past lives. It could be the first step to finding all the answers you need.
