How To Do A Perfect Car Wash On Your Own

By Jacky Johnson

A lot of people love their car so much that not only do they want to retain it in a perfect condition but also glittering just like a new one, even a long time after they had purchased it. If you too love your car so much, you have to ensure a regular car wash in addition to the regular mechanical care that you will be regularly undertaking.

With the right accessories and in some easy steps, you can give your car the best car wash all by yourself. First, begin with a quick hose down of your vehicle to remove most of the dust and grime. Now start applying soap to the roof with good quality car wash soap.

It is advisable not to use the cleaning products from the kitchen, even if they work well with all your dirty utensils. These will abrade the wax and glaze from your vehicle and make it appear dull. There are many good car soaps available in the market, just be sure to select a good quality one.

You should also ensure that your sponge is not worn out and dirty, as otherwise you will make the car look dirtier, rather than making it shinier, by putting more dirt on it. You should use micro fibre mitts to ensure that you don't wear away the sparkle with your rubbing.

Once you have cleaned the roof, you can then go to the hood, the back and the doors, one after the other and repeat the process. When you are certain that you have soaped and scrubbed to your heart's content, use the hose once more to wash off the vehicle thoroughly. However, if you think the job is complete now, well there is still a little more to do.

Leaving your car in standing in the sunlight after just having washed it will cause water marks all over the body of the car. Hence, you should make use of chamois leather to rub the surface so as to get the perfect shine.

The final result of the entire activity will be nothing short of an expert car wash and you are going to be pleased with all the effort that you would have put in.
